Between Dust and Sky » The 100th Hand Hills Lake Stampede

Photography projects are interesting. Cool even. Usually projects take a long time from beginning to end, filled with challenges, surprises, some lows and hopefully, many more highs. Two Alberta photographers and good friends of the show, Ward Rosin and Mark Reierson, embarked on such a journey and hit the Shutter Time mics to share their collaborative efforts with us. Please join us as we learn of the project itself, lessons learned, their personal satisfaction, and more from these talented chaps.

Huge thanks to Mark and Ward for coming on the show and sharing their project with us. Please make sure you check out their blog post and show these chaps some love!

Thanks so much for tuning in, folks!

Cheers, y’all!

He’s Back, Y’all

It’s been a while since we’ve had our good friend, Bryan Minear, on the show, so we had him come back on for a good ol’ chat to see what’s new with him. We also learn what’s been happening in his photographic world this year, as well as find out the backstory to his wildly popular and beautiful solar eclipse image. Please join us for episode 168 as we catch up with one of our favourite guests!

Were you able to photograph the eclipse last month? If so, we would love to see your images. Have you ever faced a creative rut with your photography? How did you handle it, and did it impact or change your photography once your creative juices started to flow once again? Please chime in! You can find us on Bookface or Twitter, here on the blog, and of course you can subscribe for free for more Shutter Time goodness via iTunes or Stitcher.
