Congrats and huge props to our fantastic brothers from another mother, Tom and Antonio, the Switch to Manual chaps, as they celebrate their 50th podcast episode! We look forward to the next 50! Please make sure to check out the episode!

When Once Isn’t Enough

After this tweet, we knew we needed to continue the conversation from our last episode, Episode 153 »» Arting with Dave Szweduik, so we not only brought Dave back for more, but we also invited our good pal, Bryan Minear, back for a chat!

Please join us as we further discuss the art of arting with these two great friends of the show! We also take some time to catch up with Bryan to learn what he has been up to these past few months. We are also happy to hear Dave is back with season 2, episode 101 of his vlog!

New Yorker

You know him. You love him. Perhaps you’ve been instructed by him. Our brother from another mother, 50% of the brilliant photography podcast, Street Shots, our homie and partner-in-crime, Antonio ‘Switch 2 Manual’ Rosario joins us once again for another chat.

Photokina 2016

Sadly, we were not there (now that would be cool), however we decided to join heads and chat about some of the Photokina announcements which piqued our interest the most. Fuji may or may not make an appearance in the discussion. Please join us as we have gear chat and more!

Join the Convo

Photokina has now wrapped up – what have been your highlights from the announcements? Any gear that has you dreaming of an upgrade? What are your thoughts on the medium format system from Fuji? Is this something you’re interested in? We’d love to hear your thoughts! Please chime in on our blog, Twitter and Bookface. As always, you can subscribe for free via iTunes and Stitcher!

Podcast Juice

Olaf and Kasia (episode 129) dropped by Mac’s to deliver some podcast juice, which powers him to be able to do these podcasts with me. Ha.  Please make sure to check out their work and listen to episode 129!

Hey Fuji

Ahh, remember how bonkers we were over the X-Pro 2? Well, now the first leaked images of the anticipated Fuji X-T2 have now appeared. We also quickly chat about Fuji’s rumoured change to the 120mm macro lens – it’s going to be less than 100mm, but to what? Hmmm … Below is their most recent roadmap, which has not been updated since 2015 and includes the 120mm lens as originally planned.

Fuji x mount lens roadmap Feb 2015

The L Word

As the show title suggests, we discuss light, landscapes and leading your own way when it comes to your photography. That’s the key here – your photography. A few articles irked us (okay, me) and we decided to take to the mics to figure a few things out. I don’t think we were entirely successful, but can’t blame a couple of photographers / podcasters for trying, eh?

Join the convo

If you’re a Fuji shooter, do you have a preference as to what the replacement for the 120mm will be? When it comes to your photography – how important is chasing or finding the right light to you? How do you keep your on track and follow your heart instead of what others are telling you to do? You can keep the conversation flowing by joining us via Bookface (Mac) and on Twitter and of course, this blog. You can also subscribe for free via iTunes and Stitcher.

Thanks as always for tuning in and thanks again for making your way through this show – if you did, ha!

Cheers, y’all!

Episode 91 »» Who Is The Judge of Your Photography?

*This is the photo we discussed towards the end of the show; mock away* :)
*This is the photo we discussed towards the end of the show … mock away* 🙂

Gear Swoon

Before the Photokina fun starts, some companies have announced new tools and toys and you know the folks at Fuji are no different with the announcement of a new X-T1. We can’t image why at this point, but it’s kind of flashy and funky looking with a string of cool feature, so this might appeal to those thinking about buying the X-T1. The great thing is current X-T1 owners will have the firmware update come sometime in December, giving us the lot of upgrades. There’s also the new 56 ƒ1.2 APD lens and the 50-140mm ƒ2.8 lens. Check out the press release for all the goodness and the Fuji Guys latest video for more!

Vivian Maier

The latest news indicates there is a legal battle brewing regarding her body of work. We touch on a couple details during the show, but you can find all the information here.

Here Comes The Judge

With the latest news over Vivian Maier’s work and other discussions about whose opinions really matter when it comes to your photographs, it got us thinking – who is the ultimate judge of your images? We took to the mics in an attempt to tackle this very broad subject. Please join us as we try to figure it out.

Join the Convo

What are you looking forward to coming out of Photokina this week? I’m curious what our Fuji shooters in particular think about the Graphite X-T1 release? Is it too soon? Should they have kept it at a firmware update only with the original X-T1? Let’s switch gear to our bodies of work – who is ultimately the judge of your photography? What is your take on this? Does knowing others are judging your work impact how you make images and even share them? We’d love to hear your thoughts on this and more, so please check us out at TwitterBookFaceG+, and of course, you can subscribe for free via iTunes.

If y’all even made it through this show, we thank you! It’s been a long week / month, friends. Thanks as alway for tuning in!

Cheers, y’all!

Down Under

Since the Shutter Time budget didn’t include a trip to Australia, we took to the airwaves to hang with our favourite Australian photographer, Andrew … aka Big lens Little lens! We discussed many topics … his work, his style, preferences, printing, trophy hunting, etc.  Andrew lives in one of the most spectacular places on earth where incredible landscapes are the norm, so join us and listen to how he views his world behind the lens. You might be surprised.

Chatty Shooters

The funny thing about this podcast is it lasted another 2 hours after we stopped recording. I think it was our longest post-podcast chat to date, with the extended post-podcast convo with Moose coming in a strong second. Gotta love those good ol’ fashioned photography discussions, especially the off-the-record ones.

Make sure you check out more of Andrew’s work. You won’t be disappointed!

I should mention the photos on this site are of course courtesy of our mate, Big lens Little Lens!

We’d love to hear your thoughts on this show, Andrew’s work and anything else on your photographic minds. You can find us at Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and of course, you can subscribe for free at iTunes or check us out at Stitcher.

We have a couple more great interviews coming up, so please stay tuned, folks. It’s turning out to be a chatty March and we love it.

Thanks again for the chat, Andrew. It was an absolute delight to have you on the show!
